First Dutch Athlete To Win Olympic Medal On Snow Trained Indoors
The snowboarder Nicolien Sauerbreij made Dutch and Olympic history, when she became the first snow sports athlete from her country to win a medal in a snow discipline. Sauerbreij’s medal was also the 100th for the Netherlands in Olympic history.
