NEW SKI FASHION BRAND INSPIRED BY DRY SLOPES

A new snowsports fashion brand has been launched by a young entrepreneur who has been inspired by the dry slope and indoor snow scene.
24-year-old Lauren Davies from Cumbria has launched Urbanpiste especially to appeal to people who regularly use dry ski slopes and indoor snow centres for skiing or boarding.

Lauren, who studied fashion at Manchester Metropolitan University and is a member of Kendal Snowsports Club which operates its own dry slopes told local media that Urbanpiste’s roots are set firmly within the British snow sports scene, representing what she describes as, “the UK’s unique and diverse winter sports scene.”

Lauren says that’s although it’s early days, sales are good and steadily increasing. In addition Urbanpiste already has its own sponsored riders, Ella Taylor Tipton and Sam Pattinson.

Both are up and coming skiers within the British park and pipe scene and Ella has recently won the U18 Junior Female Ski title at the Welsh Championships.
